Cartoon or Sinetron?

Which one do you prefer, watching cartoon or sinetron? Wait a second, there isn’t movie in the option? Well, definitely I will choose going to cinema as well. Back to the question, I like cartoon better than cinema. Moreover, I am the biggest fan of Naruto J.

There are values behind every cartoon. I am talking about cartoon that intended for kid, for instances Doraemon, One Piece, Avatar, Naruto, Dora the Explorer, etc. Not The Simpson that however contains political purposes. Yet, this cartoon is sort of tool to insult the political conditions in United States regarding George W. Bush policies, and worldwide issue as well.

Mostly we are grown up with Doraemon. Who will forget how lazy Nobita is? He always takes the easier ways to get whatsoever he wants by whining to Doraemon. Yet, everything can’t be carried out from Doraemon’s pocket. Indeed, it tells us that we have to struggle in pursuing our dreams, it can’t be achieved instantly. I wish our society can take a lesson from it. Have you ever watched the adventure of Naruto and his friends? In every mission they got, and every obstacle they faced, they never gave up. Additionally, it teaches us the sincere of true friends.

But, cartoon can also be negative for children when they demonstrate the fight scenes of Naruto at home. Of course, the presence of parents still play an importance role here especially to sort which one is suit to be watched by kid. Coz beside that kind of cartoon there are sort of semi-adult cartoons which over vulgar.  How about sinetron which takes the top position of rating? Based on observer report, our sinetron is less educated, dreamlike, and sometimes over rude. The main power is only its stream since it is easy to follow. It indicates that our society is looking for something that is light thus no need to think. Our society has been sick of street jam, the rise of fossil fuel price, flood, etc, so what they really need is just entertainment.Sinetron has been over whelmed by our society and this opportunity has been responded well by sinetron’s producers. Take a look at the trend now. The success of Intan has been followed by other sinetrons thus commence out the sinetrons that using the main casting as the title, such as Azizah, Safira, Suci, Aisyah, etc.I just wonder, how this nation will grow if every day they consume that kind of sinetrons. I believe, directly or indirectly, whatever people watch will inspire their attitude and life as well.
